My inbox used to get flooded with friendship messages and mails.   Those Friendship Quotes always gave me a positive energy.

 But to be honest with ourselves, let’s ask ourselves; do these Love quotes, Friendship quotes actually help us in the long term run?

 

Nankhatai-My experiments in kitchen;)

Sometimes you know, some ideas click my mind out-of-nowhere! And now this time it was to bake biscuits.

All excited to experiment my idea; I flew to the kitchen …hehe…

I searched through mom’s recipe books to find out a recipe for making NanKhatai (sweet biscuit).

The “All Knower Knows” it All 

I came home after class and had lunch with my family. After lunch while washing the dishes it suddenly struck…

“Hey even an act of washing the dishes would be an act of charity and would be rewarded if its done for the sake of Allah!  “

SubhanaAllah!

But still I was confused! How can one intend to wash the dishes to “please” Allah? How does that relate?

Nevertheless, I didn’t alter the intention I had.

Surely Allah “the All Knower” knows it all. Who are we to question, but mere creations of the Lord of the worlds?

I dozed off to sleep amidst the revolution of my thoughts...

 

 

 

 

 

 

“Enough! Go sleep! You have class tomorrow”

I switched off the computer, as my dad asked me to go sleep, still wondering what I read just few minutes back was all about.

 

The Qur’an – Children and Fascinating Stories!

Little Raihana rushed to bed holding her mother’s hand. She just loved it when it was time to go to bed. For at that time she not only prepared herself for a wonderful night full of beautiful dreams, but also because her mother would give her a wonderful treat.

“Mumma I’m ready! I’m ready!”

Raihana chirped happily, jumping up and down in bed even as her mother tried to gently tuck her in. And as Raihana lied down to sleep, her Mumma told her stories that fascinated her, stories from the Qur’an!

5 years ago, while Little Raihana’s Mumma prepared herself for Raihana to arrive, she and Raihana’s Abba made sure they did everything to bring their child into a world that would show her the beauty of life that Allah subhanu wa ta’ala had blessed her with. And indeed, they would have to make sure she was kept protected away from all evil that was let loose in the world today.
